Use It Up

I have great crafty stuff. I mean, really super great stuff. . . but I admit, I've been hoarding it all. So, one of my goals for this new year is to use what I have. Really, really use what I have. . . because I have really great stuff (and a lot of it).

Of course, to keep myself from getting completely overwhelmed, I started with baby steps. For instance, I have a bunch of red cards and a bunch of 6x6 paper that would go lovely with the red cards. And I have fabu stamps that are perfect for quick and easy cards. Soooo . . .here are the red cards (and a pink one):

All stamps are by Rosie's Roadshow.

Viola! All red cards used up! Stay tuned for orange . . .

Penguin Pizza Box

So, I'm a member of a Stamp Club. It's good for me to be a part of it, especially since I closed the store. I hosted our meeting this month and for the project, I decided to make a pizza box. I also decided to use a super cute penguin stamp by The Cat's Pajamas.

Lo and Behold! I received a newsletter from The Cat's Pajamas, and it turns out that January 20th is Penguin Awareness Day! Imagine that . . . I made a Penguin Pizza Box just in time for Penguin Awareness Day and I didn't even know it was Penguin Awareness Day!

Okay . . .enough blabber . . . here's the Pizza Box (and you can make one, too! Just follow this tutorial)

Snowmen

Maybe it's because I live in California where we don't get any snow. Maybe it's because they are just so cute. Whatever the reason, I just love this snowman!

Mum's the Word

Okay . . not really . . .I just made a card using a Mum stamp. I've had Mum Messages for quite some time but never really knew what to do with it.
When all of a sudden, while flipping through the November issue of CardMaker magazine, there it was!
A beautiful card created by Michelle Woerner. And I thought, "Hey! I could do something similar with that Mum stamp set."

So, I modified it and came up with this:
What I used:
Mum Messages by Stampendous
Patterned paper by Memory Box
Embossing Folder by Sizzix
Nesties
Copic Markers
